HOW TO ADD INK TO YOUR HYBRID FOUNTAIN PEN...
All HAUGEN DESIGNS hybrid fountain pens come with a converter found inside the barrel of your pen.  You can also use fountain pen ink cartridges as well.  Converters work like a syringe.  To fill the converter, unscrew the section from the barrel of the pen.  With the converter connected to your fountain pen nib, you fully submerge your nib into a bottle of your desired ink.  Once submerged, twist the end of the converter to fill your converter with ink.  Once the converter has your desired ink, wipe off all excess ink from the nib.  Now screw your converter and nib back into the barrel of the pen.  Once everything is in place, you are ready to use your fountain pen!  After using the pen for a period of time, you can always replenish the nib by slowly twisting the converter to get the ink to begin flowing through your nib.  Be careful not to twist too much causing the nib to drip ink.  I would do this procedure over a sink or paper towel.

HYBRID FOUNTAIN PEN CAPS...
Most of the hybrid fountain pens have caps that cover the nib.  The cap should be able to adequately cover most nibs including Jowo #5 and #6 as well as Bock nib.

MATERIALS USED IN CREATING HYBRID FOUNTAIN PENS...
The wood used is mainly Padauk, Cocobolo, Black Walnut, Maple and Rosewood.  I pour my own resin blanks and use a variety of  pigment powders to produce vibrant colors and swirls.  I use ebonite for some of my hybrid fountain pens.  Ebonite is a hard, durable material made by vulcanizing natural rubber.  Ebonite is a wonderful material for making clean and durable threads for the cap, section and barrel of the pen.
